LXRandCo Expects Strong Revenue Growth in 2017 over prior year

MONTREAL, Jan. 9, 2018 /CNW/ - LXRandCo, Inc. ("LXRandCo" or the "Company") (TSX: LXR, LXR.WT), an international omni-channel retailer of branded vintage luxury handbags and accessories, today announced that it expects net revenue for the year ending December 31, 2017 to be approximately 70% above that of last year.  The growth in the Company's top line is directly attributable to increased performance in all channels, in particular the retail channel given the significant growth of the Company's retail network.  As of December 31, 2017, the Company had 133 stores in operation compared to 46 as of December 31, 2016.

"2017 was the Company's most exciting and most successful year to-date by many measures," said Fred Mannella, Chief Executive Officer, LXRandCo, Inc.  "The fourth quarter of the year is always an important one for us and this year was no different as we began to see the results of our continued investment in the expansion of the retail network with 87 new stores opened throughout the year.  Revenue from our online operations also increased by approximately 85% from the same period last year as we continued to benefit from increased traffic and brand awareness.  As well, we saw impressive results among our 30 stores that have been open for more than 12 months as of November 30, 2017, with average productivity for these stores of more than $2,400 per square foot. We're now setting our sights to building on this momentum throughout 2018 and executing against our plan with a continued focus on improved profitability and operational excellence which includes refining our shop-in-shop model to address market demand."
